Darrel Seeto

Mr. Darrell Seeto has 25 years’ experience in retail and commercial banking, corporate finance, debt and equity capital markets including equity and FX derivatives across international markets. Having worked his entire career in various preeminent financial institutions such as NAB Limited, Ord Minnet Securities, JP Morgan, Salmon Smith Barney the Investment Banking arm of Citigroup and Macquarie Bank in Australia.

Darrell held roles at JP Morgan as a Vice President in Wealth Management Division before being promoted to a Senior Vice President at Citigroup and a Division Director at Macquarie Bank Ltd. Currently Darrell is a Senior Adviser at the privately owned Australian firm, Shaw and Partners.

Darrell holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of New South Wales and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Australian Securities Institute of Australia. He is a certified accountant, a senior associate with the Australian Institute of Bankers and a master practitioner member of the Stockbrokers & Financial Advisers Association of Australia. He is also a member of PNG Institute of Directors.

Jason Gilai is a highly qualified professional. He holds a Masters of Business Administration- from University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), Masters of Applied Finance from Financial Services Institute of Australasia (formerly Securities Institute of Australasia) and Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Southern Queensland (Graduated-2001). Other tertiary qualifications include Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment and a Diploma of Financial Markets from Financial Services Institute of Australasia (formerly Securities Institute of Australasia).

He has over 10 years’ experience in private and public sectors in senior management positions and project management advisory, namely in the financing, mining and energy sectors. He is currently Chairman of PHC Supply (PNG) Ltd and Managing Director of Andriago Ltd.

Mrs. Keryn Hargreaves is a non-executive director on a number of board of directors. She is currently the Chair Lady Goroka Show since 2013. A stern promoter of local businesses, she has together with the support of the local community, successfully staged the popular Goroka Show since becoming the Chair Lady.

She has management and business acumen having operated her own clothing retail and travel agency businesses in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province.

She has served as a Board member for National Cultural Commission, female representative on the Board of Fresh Produce Development Agency, Nokondi Investments Ltd Business arm of EHPG, and current member of Tourism Promotion Authority and a Trustee for National Museum & Arts Gallery

Mr. John Patterson Auna is a consultant with Code Black Limited. He is an accountant by profession since 1990. He has proven Leadership and Management experience, knowledge and skills as an Executive gained from his broad experience within both the Private and Public sectors, different industries-successfully transforming organizations to achieve agreed goals, objectives and returns for stakeholders. John possesses a wealth of experience spanning over 26 years.

John holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accountancy from University of Technology, Lae, MP (Graduated 1990) and a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accountancy from Deakin University, Warnambool, Victoria, Australia (Graduated in 1994).

He is also an associate member of Papua New Guinea Institute of Directors and associate member of Certified Practicing Accountants of PNG.

Augustine Birie

Mr. Augustine Birie brings his in depth banking and finance knowledge, skills and experience to the Board of National Development Bank Limited. He is currently a Consultant to Bank of PNG attached to Centre for Excellence in Financial Inclusion (CEFI) since January 2017. Most of his bulk of 40 years’ career has been with Bank of PNG with few years with Nambawan Super as General Manager and Interim Chairman Nambawan Savings & Loan Society.

Augustine has a Master’s in Business Studies (MBS)(Banking) 1999 to 2000 from Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand, Honours Degree in Economics (1985) and Bachelor of Economics from University of PNG (Graduated June 1982. Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Development Administration (1991) National Centre for Development Studies, Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.

He is a Senior Associate of Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance, member of Finance and Treasury Association of Australia, a member of PNG Human Resource Institute and a Professional member of PNG Institute of Directors.

Graham King

Mr. Graham King is a career agriculturalist who worked in Papua New Guinea for 35 years. He has worked in the oil palm industry as an Agronomist with PNGOPRA from 1996- 2000 and in plantation management at Higaturu Oil Palms from 2000-2007 and from 2008 he was the General Manager of Hargy Oil Palms Ltd until his retirement in 2019. Prior to joining the oil palm industry he was a research agronomist with the PNG Department of Agriculture and Livestock specializing in subsistence food production. Graham was a director of a number of PNG companies and Associations including Hargy Oil Palms Ltd, Oil Palm Industry Corporation and PNG Oil Palm Research Association.

Graham has experience in managing the human and physical resources necessary for initiation and coordination of agricultural business in diverse geographical locations. He has a Bachelor in Applied Science (Hort. Tech) University of Queensland – Gatton College. And is a member of PNG Institute of Directors.He was initially appointed a director of NDB in 2015.
