Mr. Peter Kuman is a Senior Lawyer within the legal fraternity and is a Director of the National Development Bank.
From Chimbu Province, he is a Partner with one of Papua New Guinea’s premiere Commercial Law firms, Posman Kua Aisi Lawyers and practices principally in Commercial Litigation.
Recently, Mr. Kuman was appointed as one of the formation Directors of the recently incorporated Petromin (PNG) Holdings Limited, he has also been appointed Interim Company Secretary of one of the South Pacific’s premiere research institute – PNG Cocoa Coconut Institute Limited.
He retains his Membership with the PNG Law Society and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Prior to joining Posman Kua Aisi Lawyers Mr. Kuman was a Senior Associate with Blake Dawson Waldron and has worked in both the Brisbane and Port Moresby Offices.
Mr. Kuman was solely responsible for the drafting of the Kokonas Indastri Koperasen Regulations and the overall legal framework for the deregulation of the Copra Industry in Papua New Guinea.
He enjoys Rugby League, reading and fresh water fishing.
