Mr. Himson Waninara is the Alternate Board Director representing New Britain Palm Oil Limited on the Board of the National Development Bank.

He is an admitted Lawyer and currently holding an unrestricted Practicing Certificate and is the current Group Company Secretary for New Britain Palm Oil Limited and its subsidiary companies.

From Nanga Nanga village in Kokopo, East New Britain , he also sits currently as a Director of Guadakanal Plains Palm Oil Limited of the Solomon Islands , and Director of the East New Britain Development Corporation.

Mr. Waninara is a former Senior Provincial Magistrate and has experience sitting as a Coroner and in Leadership Tribunals.

He has served the Government of Papua New Guinea from 1974 to 1987 and today continues to serve the community in West New Britain as Chairman of the Kimbe General Hospital Board where he has been a Board Member since 2003.

He retains an active interest in the Institute of National Affairs as a Council Member and is also a Member of the PNG Institute of Directors.
