MR. ANTHONY DELACRUZ
 

Mr. Dela Cruz has extensive experience in the various fields of Microenterprise Development, Microfinance and Grassroots Banking consisting of Business Planning, Viability Modeling, Financial Planning, conducting Feasibility Studies, Project Implementation, Financial Analysis, Technical Training, Loans officers & Managers Training, Technical assistance, Operational and Institutional Audit, Systems Development, Product Development, Development of Operational Manuals & Reporting Procedures, Human Resource Development, Institutional Development & Capacity Building and Consultancy and training services.

He has conducted international consultancy services for Bankakademie International now called Frankfurth School of Business and Finance with office based in Frankfurth, Germany. He co-authored the TrustBank’s Manual; a lending methodology for microfinance that was used by Opportunity International Global Partners in over 80 countries.

He has also conducted various consultancy services and trainings for Opportunity International to partners in Asia, Africa and Latin America. He was also instrumental in the transformation of a large microcredit NGO into a licensed deposit-taking institution and the first Microfinance-oriented bank in the Philippines called Opportunity Microfinance Bank. In 2003, as Institutional Development Specialist and a Consultant for ADB and AusAID funded project, he pioneered the first licensed Microbank institution in Papua New Guinea now called Nationwide Microbank Ltd.

In 2007, he joined the National Development Bank Limited to develop its microfinance strategy and roll out its new credit delivery methodology through out its 17 branches across Papua New Guinea.
